FISHING
Shining Tree Lake has a variety of fish to satisfy everyone from families to serious pro’s. The lake is over 5 miles long, and has miles of rugged shoreline, islands, and hidden bays to test your skills.
Fighting Smallmouth Bass up to 5lbs. are common in the warm summer. Walleye and Northern Pike are the favorite in Spring and Fall.
If it’s trout you’re after, travel to any of the numerous back lakes to try your hand at Rainbows, Brook Trout, Lake Trout, Aurora Trout or Splake. Many of these lakes are accessible by road, some by portage or fly-in.
